The Buried Voice Rises is a 3D historical game that tells a story of struggle, hope, and courage in the search for identity. The story centers on a young girl named Rini, a student of the revolutionary figure whose name changed the course of women's emancipation in Indonesia, R.A. Kartini.
Throughout her life, Rini not only learned about science, but also understood the meaning of freedom, equality, and the courage to speak up amidst the limitations of her time. Through Kartini's guidance, she gradually discovered the strength within herself to transcend existing limitations.
The game is divided into several interconnected chapters, each presenting a significant phase in Rini's life—from her curious childhood, through her learning experiences that shaped her perspective, to her adult journey as an educator who continues her spirit of struggle.
Every step the player takes will be part of Rini's emotional journey, uncovering voices that have been suppressed, and rekindling her undying spirit of change.
